Short Course Champs and Vintage Lark Rally

The Date: 21st and 22nd August 2004

The Venue:­ Stewartby Water SC

Organised by the Lark Association as a fund raising event, this will be a weekend of fun activities both on and off the water.

We are planning:

- two days of competitive racing with prize money for the winners of the gold and silver fleet.
- lots of short races to sharpen up your starting and boat handling.
- spot prizes
- club prizes
- training
- Lark tuning sessions (especially for old boats)
- fun games on and off the water
- a BBQ and evening social
- an opportunity to test sail a brand new boat.

Along side the Short Course Champs, we are inviting anybody with a Baker boat or a Parker Mark 1 to compete in the vintage rally. Entry for the weekend will be completely free if you turn up with a boat older than 2030.

Camping will be available free of charge in the club.

This is going to be a great event. From the enthusiasm shown already, we are expecting a great turnout and a superb atmosphere for a slightly unusual and fun event.
