Frensham Five

Hello all
Hope you all had a good Christmas, letís now look ahead to an exciting New Year and early Spring sailing series; yes it is the time of the year to flag the dates of this yearís Frensham Five.

Here are the dates of the 2014 Lark Frensham Five series, that you have all been waiting for. This series will certainly help you get your season off to the best of starts.
Lark Frensham Five - Race schedule:
∑ Sunday 2nd February Races 1 & 2 Starts 1215 and 1410
∑ Sunday 16th February Races 3 & 4 Starts 1215 and 1410
∑ Sunday 2nd March Races 5 & 6 Starts 1215 and 1410
∑ Sunday 9th March Races 7 & 8 combined with the Frensham Frenzy - Open Pursuit starts 1030 and 1400.
∑ Sunday 23rd March Races 9 & 10 Starts 1215 and 1410 followed by prize giving.
There it is, 10 races, 5 to qualify, spread over two months, however just five Sundays, including the Frensham Frenzy races.

Other Frensham Lark dates
∑ Saturday 12th April Lark Training run by the Lark Class
∑ Sunday 13th April Frensham Pond Lark Open

Visitor entry fees:
£30 for the series (all in, including boat, crew and berth), or £7 per individual day - OR
£25 for the series, plus £10 if berthing is required for more than 2 weeks.

We now have a Lark half model as first prize, as well as the wine!

Just a reminder that the first Frensham Five is tomorrow. 1215 start.

Frensham Five

Seven helms took part in the first Frensham Five races last Sunday. Andy Shorrock winning the first race and Matt Shorrock the second. Nigel Hufton was second in both races.
Eight races to go and the next two are tomorrow week the 16th February - two races at 1215 and 1410.
