Not that I want to distract people from attending Waldringfield over the easter weekend, especially as training has been organised for the fri, but just to let you know there is an event at Royal Lymington Yacht Club from Sat to Mon at the same time. It is for some specific fleets (e.g Fireflies) but there are also slow and fast handicap fleets. Sailing is on the solent, 3 races per day. It is £27 for the whole 3 days or you can just race at £10 per day. Rich and I will be going (I'm afraid Smashie can't stand the mud and shallows at Waldringfield and it is me who bears the brunt of the verbal onslaught!) but only for Sun and Mon as I have already got other plans for Sat.
Check out www.rlymyc.org.uk and click on calendar, then easter dinghy regatta.
It would be nice to see some other Larks there!

You might not be alone. If the class can muster 6 or more entries then we would get a class start. Although the competition is bound to be hot at Waldringfield, local knowledge might be the deciding factor.
The short Solent chop outside of Lymington would be good practice for the nationals! |

Dan and I are also planning on going to the Easter Regatta.
Being Dan's home club, we are familiar with the many drinking establishments Lymington has to offer and will be on hand to introduce visitors to them.
We were going to borrow a Firefly but if other Larks are coming down then obviously we know where our loyalties lie! |

Jen,
Neil & myself will definately be attending. I've heard of a few others that may be attending for one of the days.
It would be great if we could get a few more to ensure a class start.
Cheers,
