one of the associations favourite events - racing takes place out in the bay, not in Portland Harbour.

Directions to Club

From the north and west, head to Dorchester and then south on the A354 until you get into Weymouth and get to a roundabout where the A353 joins. From London, take the M3/M27 then A31 through Wimborne Minster onto the A35. After 1 mile, turn left onto the B3390 through Affpuddle. Cross the A352 and follow the A353 to Weymouth the left onto the A354 at the roundabout.

Turn left at the next roundabout at the end of the inner harbour. Do not go over the bridge over the harbour, instead turning right and then left along the harbour (cobbled road). At the road to the club, unhitch your boat and walk it left to the club at the end of the harbour wall. To park, continue round and keep left – there is parking on the cliff above the club, towards Nothe Fort. There are steps back down to the club.
